Clipper blade gap took me 12 months to get right

Kept fighting with half-blended fades for over a year. Clients never complained but I knew it was off. Turned out my clipper blade gap was too tight on the lever closed setting. Spent a whole Sunday messing with the screw, tiny 1/16 turns at a time. Tested on my own arm hair before touching a head. Now I check the gap every Monday before the first cut. Has anyone else dialed in their blade gap and seen an instant difference in blend smoothness?
