A guy at the Columbus barber expo showed me his clippers were running at 118 degrees, and mine were way worse
I was at the Midwest barber show in Columbus last month and this guy had one of those temp guns, so we started checking every clipper on the floor. Mine hit 141 degrees after just 20 minutes of fading, which explains why my wrist has been sore for weeks. How often are you guys cleaning and oiling your blades between cuts, because I clearly need a new routine.
