Just wasted $45 on a 'miracle' cake pan that burned everything
Bought this fancy non stick pan online that promised perfect bakes every time. Used it for a vanilla butter cake yesterday and the edges were black while the middle was raw. Checked my oven temp, it was fine. The pan is just way too thin and dark, it heats up way too fast. I'm out the cash and had to throw away a whole batch of ingredients. Has anyone found a good brand for even baking that won't break the bank?

Ugh, that's the worst feeling. I've totally been there with a pan that just scorches everything. What a waste of good ingredients too.

Tell me about it. I had this one pan that would burn onions no matter how low I set the stove. It got to the point where I just threw it out because it wasn't worth the stress. Felt so bad wasting food and time over and over. I mean, a good pan should make cooking easier, not turn it into a constant fight. Maybe it's just me, but a bad tool can ruin the whole vibe of making a meal.
