Finally hit 100 sourdough loaves baked this year

I tracked every single one since January and hit exactly 100 last Sunday. Thought I'd be proud but honestly I'm just surprised at how many failed, like 12 total duds that went straight to the compost. Has anyone else kept count of their bake failures?

12 duds out of 100 feels totally normal honestly.

Wait hold on, 12 duds out of a hundred? That's like one in every eight or nine boxes you're cracking open. I mean, I get that there's always a few bad ones in any batch, but twelve is a whole different level. That's not a minor inconvenience, that's almost a whole dozen of your money just sitting there being useless. Maybe it's just me, but if I bought a pack of something and found that many duds, I'd be pretty annoyed.
