Swapped a Whirlpool drain pump with the machine still plugged in and got a tiny shock, now I can't decide if I'm lazy or crazy
Did a drain pump on a Whirlpool duet last Tuesday and left it plugged in out of pure habit, just flipped the breaker at the panel. Got a little tingle off the harness and it scared me straight for about a day. Half the old timers I know say pulling the plug is for rookies who don't trust their panel, the other half say I'm asking for a funeral. Where do you all draw the line on this?
