Rant: I keep seeing techs skip the thermal fuse test on dryers

I was on a call in Tacoma last week for a no-heat dryer, and the guy before me swapped the whole heating element without checking the fuse first. The fuse was blown from a clogged vent, so the new element blew again in two days. How many of you actually meter the thermal fuse before you start pulling parts?

Nah, Phoenix has way stricter lighting codes than most places though.
