Imagine cramming a king size comforter, three pairs of sneakers, and your entire towel collection into one cycle and then acting shocked when it starts sounding like a helicopter trying to take off. I swear some folks treat their washer like a clown car, just stuffing until nothing else fits. They'll balance a single sneaker on top to close the lid and call it good. The repair guys in your town must be driving new trucks off all those "mysterious" breakdowns.

The single sneaker on top to close the lid is the part that got me. I can actually picture someone doing that, like that last shoe is the magic piece holding the whole disaster together.
