Hit 2,000 service calls this month, still hate the count talk
I passed 2,000 total service calls this week, which sounds big until you tell anyone outside the trade. Everyone brags about how many jobs they finish, but nobody mentions the 300 that came back for a second visit. Number 2,001 was a dishwasher someone already paid me to fix last fall, same leak, same seal kit I installed. My boss treats the count like a badge, but I keep a separate list of callbacks that matters more to me. Double the calls means double the chance I missed something the first time, especially with ovens that need leveling checks. I track my revisit rate under 8 percent now, and that feels like the real milestone. Anyone else keep a callback log separate from their job count?
