Why does nobody talk about how filler episodes ruin pacing in long running shonen

I'm 40 episodes into Bleach and the Bount arc is killing me. It's 50 episodes of filler that adds nothing to the story. I checked online and 45% of the original run is non-canon material. How do you guys handle skipping episodes without missing actual story beats?

Take @schmidt.grant's advice and just use a filler list, honestly. Bleach's filler arcs are brutal but skipping them makes it way more enjoyable, you'll catch all the real story beats without the nonsense. Once you get past the Bount stuff the pacing actually picks up again, so power through or fast forward.

Wait are you actually invested in the Bount arc or just mad it exists? Just look up a filler list online and skip em, it's not that deep.
