The $130 'complete' anime box set that was missing disc 5

I ordered that limited edition Blu-ray box of a 90s mecha show last month, paid $130 on a reseller site because it said 'complete series'. Got it in the mail yesterday, opened it up, and disc 5 is just a blank disc with 'bonus' written on it in marker. Has anyone else gotten burned by these older box sets that claim to be full when they're clearly bootlegs?

Happened to me with a box set of that old space western anime a few years back. Paid like $80 for a "complete" set and disc 3 turned out to be a burned copy of some guy's wedding video, no joke. He was cutting a cake and everything. I tried to play it anyway because I figured maybe it was a hidden easter egg, but nope. That's how I learned to check the disc art and the case spine before buying anything from private sellers now.
