That $80 collectors Blu-ray box set was a total trap
Picked up a limited edition anniversary set for an old mecha show last month, thinking the extras would be worth it. The box is nice but the discs are the exact same transfers I couldve streamed for free, and the art book is like 20 pages of reused sketches. Paid $80 for basically a fancy paperweight, and now I see why people say just buy the standard release. Anyone else get burned by a premium anime box before, or am I the only one who fell for the shiny packaging?
