Surprised myself with how much I actually liked the dubs on Cowboy Bebop

I always swore subs were the only way to watch anime, but last month I stumbled on a YouTube video breaking down the English voice cast for Cowboy Bebop. The video showed specific recording costs - like how they paid Steve Blum $15,000 total for his Spike role back in 1998. I decided to give it a real shot, and honestly, the delivery fit the characters way better than I expected. Has anyone else found a dub that changed their mind after years of being a sub purist?

Honestly the Bebop dub is the rare exception that proves the rule for me. The whole cast just nails the noir vibe in a way subs can't quite capture. Still watch subs for most stuff though.
