Rewatching Naruto after 10 years felt like a different show...

I binged the Chunin Exams back when I was 16 and thought it was just cool fight scenes. Now I'm 26 and watching Rock Lee vs Gaara hit me completely different... I actually teared up at the flashback of Lee training. The whole theme of hard work vs talent lands way harder when you've been in the workforce grinding for a decade. Has anyone else gone back to an old favorite and seen a whole new layer they missed before?

Question whether a show really needs that deep of a meaning behind it.

Man, I totally get that now - I used to just watch for the fights but that Lee episode wrecked me as an adult.
