Pro tip: that $60 anime streaming box was a total rip-off

I bought one of those cheap Android boxes at a flea market in Tulsa last month to watch my backlog. It buffered every 30 seconds and then just shut off during the final episode of a 25 year old series. I tried a factory reset and it froze on the logo screen, so that money is gone and I should have just used my laptop. Is anyone else stuck with a junk media player that sounded good in theory, or am I the only one who fell for the bargain bin trap?

Honestly get a Chromecast with Google TV instead, it's way more reliable.
