A buddy of mine told me he skips filler arcs entirely and just reads the wiki summaries
He said he saved like 80 hours on One Piece alone and honestly it made me think about how much time I spend watching episodes that don't really matter to the main story. Do you guys skip filler or power through it for completion?

Oh man, that buddy of yours might be onto something! I used to force myself through every single filler episode of Naruto and it drove me crazy. You feel like you're missing out on some hidden gem, but most of the time it's just recycled content. Skipping and reading a quick summary feels way better, trust me.

Funny how that pattern shows up everywhere, not just with shows. I remember buying a complete set of encyclopedias back in the 90s because I felt like I had to own all the information. Turns out I hardly opened half of them. We get this idea that more is always better, but it's usually just clutter. Sometimes the smartest thing is knowing what to leave out.
