The $28 roll of thermal tape that melted in 2 hours
Bought a fancy roll of thermal tape online to fix a dead laptop fan, and it straight up deliquified under heat. Wasted an afternoon in Phoenix redoing it with plain old electrical tape, which somehow still works. Anyone else get burned by a 'premium' fix that was worse than the garage hack?

Phoenix heat turns cheap tape into soup. Electrical tape is the real MVP here.
