Somehow got 100 uses out of a single floppy disk and I feel like I beat the system
Found a box of old 3.5 inch disks in my parents' garage in Dayton last month and one of them just kept taking data, write after write, for 47 saves before it finally gave up. I realized mid-copy that this thing had survived Starcraft saves, a term paper, and being left in a hot car, which is more than I can say for the last three USB sticks I bought. Now I am second guessing whether I should keep using these for real backups or if I just got lucky with this one. Has anyone else had a floppy outlast their modern gear like this?
