Just realized my 1998 Palm Pilot beats my modern phone for notes

Tbh, I was at a flea market in Austin last weekend and found an old Palm IIIxe on a table. I took it home, synced it, and now I use it for all my shopping lists and quick ideas. Has anyone else gone back to a single-purpose gadget for one task and found it somehow works better?
