Wait, are people actually supposed to CARE that much about 1000 subs these days? That number is basically just the first real checkpoint YouTube throws at you so they can finally turn on monetization for your channel. It's nice and all but it's not like you just won the lottery. The whole influencer grind culture makes people think hitting 1000 is some huge life event when really it's just a sign you've been consistently uploading for a few months. Focus on making good content and the numbers will come, but don't let a random milestone get inside your head like that.

Most people I see hitting 1000 are just getting started, and half of them are already worrying about the next 10k milestone before the confetti even settles.
