Wait, are people actually supposed to CARE that much about 1000 subs these days? That number is basically just the first real checkpoint YouTube throws at you so they can finally turn on monetization for your channel. It's nice and all but it's not like you just won the lottery. The whole influencer grind culture makes people think hitting 1000 is some huge life event when really it's just a sign you've been consistently uploading for a few months. Focus on making good content and the numbers will come, but don't let a random milestone get inside your head like that.

Man, I remember when 1000 subs felt like you were being knighted by YouTube or something, like a digital rite of passage. Idk, maybe it's just me but hitting that number these days kind of feels like getting a participation trophy for showing up. Most people I see hitting 1000 are just getting started, and half of them are already worrying about the next 10k milestone before the confetti even settles. It's honestly a bit like celebrating that your gas tank is full after a long drive, you're not at your destination yet, you just don't have to worry about running out for a bit. But hey, at least you finally get to wear the fancy monetization hat, even if it's a tiny one.

Oh man, @felix_jones is just jealous because his first 1000 subs were probably all from that crypto scam video he made.
