Tried that foil ball in the dryer trick and ended up with shredded aluminum all over my clothes

I thought the foil would cut drying time in half but after three cycles my jeans were covered in tiny silver flecks and I spent an hour picking it off... has anyone else had this backfire on them?

Trust me it's way safer to just use dryer balls instead of messing with foil.

I saw a guy on YouTube say you gotta use heavy duty foil and crumple it really tight so it doesn't flake off. Sounds like yours was too thin or not balled up enough.
