Watching my brother sort his Lego bricks sparked a grid system idea
I saw my little brother laying out his Legos by color and size on the floor. It was like a perfect, organized grid that still had some random spots. It got me thinking about using uneven grids in web design to break up boring layouts. I tried it on a project for a local bakery's site, mixing different sized blocks.
