Ugh, I get that. Last month I stared at so many minimalist cosmetic boxes that my brain broke. Started sketching what I thought was a clean, modern design, and my partner asked if it was for a new brand of band-aids. @noah_kelly23 is right though, all that looking does stick in your head. My final version was definitely better than the weird medical tape idea I somehow landed on first.
But what if you look at something so much that you start seeing it wrong? I get what @noah_kelly23 is saying, but staring at anything for a week straight can make your brain go weird with it... You stop seeing what's actually good and just get stuck on tiny details that don't matter. It becomes more about copying what you saw than making your own thing. Sometimes you need to step away and let your head clear.
