Update: My neighbor's story about a duplicate key made me question a weird day I had.
I was talking to Mr. Jenkins next door about how he swears he saw his own car drive past him while he was walking his dog last Tuesday, and he said 'sometimes the world just copies something wrong'. That phrase stuck with me because I distinctly remember putting my favorite blue pen in my lunchbox before my route, but then I found it already on my dashboard when I got in the truck. Has a simple phrase from someone else ever reframed a small, strange moment for you?

Did my buddy ever tell you about his missing sock?

My sock drawer is basically a Bermuda Triangle situation, @amygonzalez. I'm probably wearing his missing one.

And here I thought it was just me. I swear I've got a sock that's been missing for like three months and I'm pretty sure it's haunting my laundry room. @thomas_young your Bermuda Triangle theory actually makes sense because I found one of my good work socks in the back of my truck last week and I have no clue how it got there. Maybe all our missing socks are just on some kind of adventure together.
