Warning: My partner throws out my glass scraps
My partner keeps putting my leftover glass pieces in the trash. I use them for small fixes, so this is really annoying. How do you keep your scrap glass safe from others?

Tell them it's not trash, it's your supply stash. Put it in a box with your name on it so they know it's yours.

Right, ryan's surprise is the point. People who don't work with materials just see trash. You need a system they can't misunderstand. Get a clearly marked bin, like a red plastic tub with "GLASS ONLY" written on it in big letters. Or store your scraps somewhere inconvenient for them but easy for you, like a high shelf in the garage. Out of their way means out of their mind.
