Spent three hours trying to salvage a custom beveled piece after the client's dog knocked over the sawhorse.

The client in the North End promised the dog was secured, but it got loose and sent a $900 piece of 3/4-inch beveled glass crashing onto their brick patio, so I had to explain that even with the safety film, the impact point was a total loss.

Ugh, that's the worst.

Safety film is for holding shards, not stopping breaks" - yeah my wallet learned that lesson the hard way too. I had a piece of tempered glass laugh at my trying to save it after it hit concrete, so now I just accept that gravity wins every time. Guess we both paid for a very expensive reminder not to trust "secured" dogs or physics.
