PSA: I finally understood why my driveway cracks every spring

I was filling the same cracks for the third year in a row when I realized the freeze-thaw cycle in Michigan is literally breaking the concrete apart. The water gets in, freezes, expands, and BOOM. Has anyone else had this specific 'aha' moment with a local rock or concrete feature?
