Question about the right way to secure a floor jack on a sloped driveway

I was at a buddy's house in Tempe trying to lift the front of his truck. His driveway has a real slight slope, maybe 2 inches over 10 feet. I had my 3-ton jack on the frame rail, but when I started lifting, the whole thing started to creep downhill. I had to drop it fast before it tipped. I ended up chocking the rear wheels with bricks and putting a thick plywood pad under the jack's wheels to stop the slide. Has anyone else dealt with this on a slanted surface? What's your go-to fix?

You only chocked the rear wheels? What about the front ones you were lifting? That truck was a rocking hazard waiting to happen.

My buddy's F-150 slid off the ramps last year.
