Appreciation post: I read a garage safety report that said over 50,000 people get hurt with jacks and stands every year.

Found that stat in a PDF from the Consumer Product Safety Commission, and it made me double-check all my jack points before getting under the car this weekend, has anyone else seen numbers that made you change a routine?

Find that stat a bit hard to believe, honestly. Seems like a high number for just jacks and stands. I always use wheel chocks too, that's my main safety step.

Double-check jack points" makes me wonder how many people even know where theirs are.
