My buddy Mark got that popular compact power bank with perfect lab scores. Took it to Chiang Mai last monsoon season. The humidity fried its charging circuit in two days. All the lab tests talked about output stability, nothing about tropical air. He ended up buying a basic model from a local stall that worked fine.
