Showerthought: My neighborhood library cut its hours and my freelance focus is gone

I used to get my best work done there in the afternoons. Now I'm stuck trying to concentrate at home with all the noise.

Ugh, tell me about it! I swung by there last week and it was the same story. Every single table was taken, and the noise level was just unreal. In my experience, once it gets that busy, finding a quiet corner is pretty much hopeless. I ended up having to pack up my stuff and leave after like twenty minutes. Your mileage may vary, but for me, that spot is only good on off-hours now. Real bummer when you're counting on a quiet place to work.
