Yeah that filter thing is real. I mean @thomash39, I kinda had the same doubt when I first raised my prices, like will anyone even call? But the weirdest thing happened. I started getting emails from people who actually read my whole website first, so our first chat was way easier. It just sorts out the whole vibe before you even get on a call.

Went through the exact same thing last year. Took on a few low paying jobs that ended up being total nightmares, constant changes, and late payments. Setting that floor changed everything for me too. Now the clients who contact me are already serious and ready to work. It filters out the difficult people who just want a bargain. I get less work sometimes, but the work I do get is better and actually pays the bills without the stress.
