Watched the 'Mackinac Bridge Walk' clip 50 times before I saw the thing in the water

I was so focused on the group of people on the bridge arguing that I missed the dark shape moving against the current below them for weeks. It only clicked when someone in a YouTube comment pointed out the timestamp at 1:47, and now I can't unsee it. Has anyone else gone over that footage and caught that detail?

That timestamp at 1:47 is a total game changer. I was the same way, just watching the people on the bridge for the longest time. Once you see that dark shape moving under the water, it rewires your brain for the whole clip. I must have watched it a dozen times myself before I caught it, and now it's all I can look at. It's crazy how our focus works like that.

You said it rewires your brain. That's so true. It's like the whole video changes. I went back and now I can't even see the people on the bridge anymore. My eyes just go straight to the water. Makes you wonder what else we miss the first time around.
