Found a 1998 album by a band called Splashdown that everyone keeps calling a one-hit wonder

People always mention their song 'Karma Slave' from the Titan A.E. soundtrack, but their full album 'Blueshift' is this amazing mix of trip-hop and rock that nobody talks about! I found a CD copy at a thrift store in Olympia for fifty cents, and it's been on repeat for weeks. Anyone else have a forgotten album where the deep cuts are way better than the single?

My buddy found this old CD by a band called Ivy at a garage sale, and the whole thing is solid gold while their one radio song is just okay. He said it felt like finding a secret everyone else missed out on. It's crazy how many great albums get buried like that.

That's why I always check the deep cuts on any album I find. The singles are just ads for the real good stuff. Digging past the radio track is how you find the hidden gems.
