Pro tip: A wedding planner told me my bouquets were too heavy
She pulled me aside after a setup and said, 'Your bride looked like she was holding a bowling ball.' I was using thick stems and too much wet foam. Now I strip more leaves, use lighter filler like baby's breath, and keep the foam block under 4 inches. The bouquets look just as full but feel way better. Anyone else get that kind of blunt feedback that actually helped?

I always thought heavy bouquets looked more expensive, but that bowling ball comment would have changed my mind too. What filler do you use now besides baby's breath?
