Can we talk about choosing between a $300 wholesale rose order and a local grower's mixed stems?

I picked the local stems for a wedding in Charlotte last Saturday, and the bride cried happy tears when she saw the unique textures, so has anyone else made a similar switch recently?

Oh man, that's awesome for the bride, but I have to point something out. Calling a local grower's flowers "wholesale" isn't really right. Wholesale usually means the big box distributors. You picked local farm direct, which is a totally different and way better thing. That switch makes all the difference in getting those unique textures. It's the best choice you can make.

See this everywhere now, people just grab the wrong word for things and it totally changes the meaning... thanks @johnfoster for clearing that up, makes me wonder how much other stuff we're all calling the wrong name without knowing it.
