A bride's mom pointed out my centerpieces looked too stiff and formal for her daughter's rustic barn wedding, so I started using more loose, trailing greens like jasmine vine and letting some blooms open naturally.
Has anyone else shifted their style based on direct client feedback, and what was the specific comment that pushed you to change?

Actually, that's a really good point about adapting to the wedding's overall feel. It's funny how one small comment can make you see your own work differently. I had a client say my bouquets looked a bit too perfect, like they came from a store shelf, and it kind of stuck with me. Now I make a point to leave in some of the quirky, imperfect stems and bend a few things out of place on purpose. It gives things a lot more life.

It's amazing how often the best advice comes from a single offhand remark.

That's how most real growth happens, honestly.
