Pro tip: Found a stat about glue down LVP failures that scared me straight
I was reading a forum post from the National Wood Flooring Association last night and saw that over 60% of glue down LVP failures happen because people don't check moisture levels in the concrete first. I always thought my meter was good enough, but turns out you need to do a calcium chloride test too. I did one on a slab in Charlotte last week and it came back at 8 pounds, way over the 3 pound max for most adhesives. That little test saved me from a call back in 6 months. Has anyone else skipped moisture testing and regretted it later?

Nah, I mean sometimes you get lucky and it just works out fine.

Respectfully, I've seen plenty of jobs where no fancy test was done and they're fine years later.
