Clear tape on a live wire... I've seen worse, but not by much. That's the kind of fix that makes my whole job security, honestly. Please just unplug that thing for good now.

Honestly that seems like a bit much from Hugo. Clear tape over a wire isn't great, but if it works for now it's probably fine. Mila's setup might not be up to code, but most DIY stuff isn't. How bad could it really be if nothing's sparked yet? Sounds like a handyman trying to scare up more business to me. Is a little tape on a wire really that big of a deal?
