Serious question, has anyone else tried fixing a wobbly chair with a stack of old coasters versus a single shim?
After my 5th coaster slid out and the chair tipped over, I spent $2 on a pack of wooden shims from the hardware store and the difference was like night and day, so what's the weirdest thing you've used as a temporary fix that totally failed?

Wait you used COASTERS? Those are way too slick, no wonder they slid out. I tried a folded-up fast food napkin once and it just turned into a gross, pulpy mess under the leg.

Grab some rubber shelf liner from the dollar store and cut little squares. That stuff grips like crazy and doesn't break down. Works every time lol.

Honestly that whole napkin thing brings back bad memories. My cousin tried to level his grill with paper plates once during a cookout. Next thing you know we're chasing a runaway sausage tray across the patio. Sometimes the simple fix just makes a bigger mess.
