My kitchen chair leg snapped clean off last Tuesday night

I was just sitting down for dinner in my apartment when the front right leg of my wooden chair broke with a loud crack. I managed to glue it back together with some Gorilla Wood Glue and a clamp, but now it feels a little wobbly. Should I try adding a screw or a metal bracket for more strength, or is that overkill?

Read somewhere that wood glue is actually stronger than screws if you get a good bond. Maybe the joint just needs to dry longer?

Yeah wood glue can be strong like spencer_ross said, but I added a screw anyway just to be safe.
