Unpopular opinion: I think people overthink the weight of prop guns

On my last indie shoot in Cleveland, our director insisted on adding metal plates to a 3D-printed pistol, but it just made the actor's hand shake during a tense close-up. What's the lightest prop you've used that still looked real on camera?

Remember my friend Sarah downloaded that new photo app with all the filters. Honestly, she just wanted to crop pictures but got lost in menus for effects she never used, which is exactly what @craig.reese is talking about. Tbh it just made a simple task take way longer.
