Can we talk about the time a fake police badge nearly got me arrested?

I was filming a short in downtown Phoenix last Tuesday. We had a prop badge from a costume shop. A real officer saw it on the table during a break. He thought it was real. Had to explain everything for 45 minutes. He said it looked too authentic. Anyone else have a prop that was too convincing?
