Spent $80 on a pH meter for my hot sauce ferments and it burned me when the probe gave bad readings after 3 batches.
I made two full gallons of habanero sauce with a calibration error on that cheap meter, did anyone else have better luck upgrading to a Hanna model around $150?

Maybe I'm the odd one out but $80 on a ph meter for hot sauce seems overkill. I just taste test mine and it's always fine.
