Hit 150 jars of fermented hot sauce this month and didn't even notice
I was just counting up my pantry stash for a friend asking about recipes and realized I've been making so much that it took me a full year to accidentally hit that milestone, anyone else lose track of their batch counts like that?

hit 150 jars... and didn't even notice" - I gotta say, I don't get that at all. If I was making that much hot sauce I'd be counting every single jar from day one. How do you lose track of 150 of something you put work into? That's like forgetting you brewed a whole batch of beer. I mean if you're just cranking them out without paying attention, what's the point of fermenting in the first place?

what's the point of fermenting in the first place" haha ok fair point but honestly my brain just goes on autopilot when i'm in the zone. one time i was making sauerkraut and forgot about a batch for like 4 months under the sink. it was fine though, just extra funky.
