Finished a tricky cedar fence in Boise and the homeowner's kid drew me a picture of it
He said it looked like a castle wall, which made the whole 3-day install feel awesome. Anyone else have a client's family say something that just made your week?

Sounds like you're getting soft over a kid's drawing. Most clients just want the work done right and the bill to be fair, not some emotional moment. I'd rather have a repeat customer than a picture on my fridge.

Yeah, a repeat customer is the real win. But that picture is basically free advertising if the parents show it around, so it's not just a feel good thing.
