Saw a show in Milan where every model wore the same shade of beige

Everyone there was calling it 'elegant minimalism' but honestly, it just felt lazy to me. The whole collection looked like a single, long, boring story with no chapters. Has anyone else felt let down by a big fashion week show?

I used to be the person who'd defend that kind of thing saying it's "minimalist" or whatever, but I actually saw a collection like that in New York and it changed my mind. It was all cream and off-white trench coats with no zippers or buttons and the whole thing felt like they just took a nap halfway through making it. Now I get it, sometimes simple is just plain boring not genius.

Honestly, it's just clothes. They put on a show with a clear idea, you didn't like the idea. It's not that deep. Sometimes designers go simple on purpose, and it's fine to not be into it, but calling it lazy feels like a reach.

Remember my friend who said what @anthony127 did, then fell asleep at a show just like that?
