Hit 50 custom pattern drafts this month and I'm kinda shocked

I started tracking how many pattern drafts I make each month just out of curiosity. Usually I'm around 30 or so for smaller projects like accessories. But this month I hit 50 exactly because I was working on a six piece jacket set for a client in Portland. I didn't realize I had that many until I counted them all yesterday. Has anyone else had a month where the numbers just surprised you like that?

okay but 50 pattern drafts in one month is actually insane in a good way. i mean i get the tracking thing i do it too for my own sanity but that number is wild. that six piece jacket set must have been something else to push you that high. i did like 35 once for a bunch of baby clothes and i thought i was going to lose my mind. 50 is next level though, you should be proud of that honestly. numbers that spike like that always feel so satisfying to count at the end of the month.

Counted up my pattern drafts one time and got 47 for a single kids Halloween costume line. Thing is, I had totally lost track because half of them were just tiny tweaks to the same basic bodice block. Different collar shapes, sleeve lengths, button placements. Got obsessed with getting the witch hat draft just right and ended up with 11 versions of that alone. My husband walked in and asked why the dining table looked like a paper explosion. Told him it was art and he just shook his head. Sometimes you don't realize how deep you've gone until you actually stop and add it all up.
