Finally finished my first full collection after three years of sketches
Honestly, I've been working on this since I moved to Austin and started taking night classes. Last week I showed all 12 pieces to my instructor, Marta, and she said the color story actually works. Ngl, I almost gave up on the whole thing last month. Has anyone else pulled a collection together after feeling totally stuck?

Know that feeling. Pushing through the stuck part is the real win.

Oh man, totally. I had to just break the whole thing down into one stupid small step. Like, I literally told myself to just open the document and stare at it for five minutes. Usually once I'm there, I can type one sentence, and then it starts to roll.

What if the real trick is learning to be okay with writing something terrible just to get moving? Sometimes that first bad sentence is the only way to find the good one.
