Vent: A young colt scattered my tools all over the stall. Everyone stopped to help. Kind of miss that barn family feel.

Was the mess just his way of bringing the barn family together again?

My uncle's farm had a similar mess that forced us all to pitch in and talk.

Honestly, that 'barn family feel' from your tool disaster is what @caseyw12 described too. I'd probably be the one making the mess, not helping clean it up.
