Shoutout to the esthetician who sold me a $200 LED mask that does nothing
Bought it three months ago after my acne flared up, and the only thing it did was make my face warm for 20 minutes. Has anyone else fallen for overpriced gadgets that just collect dust?

Total solidarity here. I dropped $250 on some fancy microcurrent thing that was supposed to "lift my jawline" and all it did was make my face tingle and remind me I'm bad at math (the cost vs. results calculation was not great). That warm glowing paperweight comment sums it up perfectly.

Ugh, I feel this so hard. I bought one of those little blue light wands for $150 and it just sits in my bathroom drawer now. The first week I was all "oh yeah, this is gonna clear everything up" but nope, just a warm, faintly glowing paperweight. I even tried using it longer than they said, thinking maybe I was just doing it wrong, but my acne was like "lol nice flashlight" and did exactly nothing. Money literally down the drain.
